Apple : the sequel
Our CEO promised me I will have the MacBook Pro by June 10th, even if he will have to fly to Cuppertino, CA. to buy it. He got a good sample of Rainbow (the most hated company in the country, by far -- see previous post) today, and didn't receive a reply to repetitive efforts to get information from another Mac products reseller ( not affiliated with Rainbow ), Systemgraph. Unless he manages to find a company that actually cares for its (wannabe) customers, we are getting it from abroad.

The apple joke
Doing business with Apple people in Greece is a joke : indeed it is. I am resisting the urge to speak my mind here ( for various reasons), but, people, come on! This is beyond ridiculuos. Ask any mac / apple user / fanboy in this country about the 'official resellers' and you 'll get more (horror) stories than you can handle. I 've been trying to get this MacBook Pro 17, which, apparently was available to everyone in the world since (almost) day one of its announcements

Apple MacBook Pro 17"
Apparently, the beyond-this-world AKA ultimate laptop will not be available in Greece (or, at least, to me) before within this month, because of the time it will take to get ordered, shipped here and God knows what else. All in all, if the order goes through this week, I may have it in mid June! That is something to be counting down minutes for ( Nintendo's Wii is another ).
