Emergence Day

I have been trying to build an efficient b-trees datastructure(container) which would work really well, decoupled from the underlying storage ( RAM, hard disk .. ) by abstracting the storage operations and offloading optimization decisions to the 'engine' that will manage the storage. Getting it to work is a walk in the park, getting it to work fast is another story altogether.. anyhow, moving on to the fast stuff.

Gears of War, an amazing game that I have been wanting to get my hands on since I saw the first screenshots, some months ago, released today in the US. According to the various sites (+users) the game is truly as awesome as it looks. I am getting a 360 in a week; this game and the amazing Live functionality being the most important reasons for this decisions. Also, the fact that I don't give a flying fuck for Sony ands its PS3 makes it easier to go for it..

The MacBook Pro keyboard is amazing. I never, ever, used a keyboard that was half as good as it is, although a few Microsoft keyboards did get close. If only there was an external keyboard with the exact same feeling..

I don't know about the Pro keyboard, but what I like most about my Macbook keyboard is the soft "clicks" that the buttons do as I press them.

I adore this sound, especially when I write in silence. And I think this keyboard makes me type even faster, yay!
