Playstation 3 is out in the US

The PlayStation 3 Launches In the U.S. : The big black beast is unleashed. Not only that, but you can get it run Linux in two hours, making it a very cheap super powerful system -- which perhaps validates somewhat the thinking/points of Sony about their pricing. ( Flagship event ). Here is a funny thing; the first guy to ever buy ( actually, given away to him by Howard Stringer and Kaz Hirai for free ) a PS3 in the US is somehow who apparently is of Greek heritage (Angel Peredes) [ gamespot story ). . Another interesting link: PS3 supports homebrew; did you get one?.

My home entertainment system is pretty sweet at this point. The Xbox 360 ( its amazing, let me tell you ) and the PS2 are already hooked up to the Samsung, leaving enough room for the Wii and perhaps the PS3 ( some day.. ). Thankfully, the Samsung allows to hook them all at the same time, which is pretty darn sweet. Pictures, pending.
